Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will play a key role in supporting end-to-end HR operations, particularly within the context of U.S. healthcare, IT and BPO processes. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling HR tasks while ensuring alignment with compliance protocols and process efficiency across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and scheduling candidates for healthcare, IT and BPO roles.
- Coordinate onboarding documentation, orientation sessions, and system access for new hires.
- Maintain accurate applicants and employee records in the system.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Prepare offer letters, NDAs, employment contracts, and relieving letters.
- Manage attendance, leave records, and monthly payroll inputs.
Employee Engagement & Support:
- Help organize employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs.
- Address employee queries regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, or workplace practices.
- Support HR team with performance appraisal coordination and documentation.
Reporting & Coordination:
- Maintain HR dashboards and generate reports related to hiring, attrition, and employee status.
- Liaise with IT, Admin, and Operations teams for onboarding logistics and issue resolution.
- Coordinate with external vendors for background checks, insurance, and other employee services.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–3 years of HR experience, preferably in a Healthcare, IT or BPO setting.
- Understanding of U.S. healthcare processes, IT, or BPO compliance practices is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS tools, and recruitment platforms (e.g., Naukri, LinkedIn).
- Strong communication, coordination, and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information responsibly.
